The daily yoga practice is designed in a way you will feel energised and relaxed. You will start the day with pranayama, followed by an active asana class and in the afternoon you will have a restorative yoga session.
You will also have time to relax, take time for you or visit the region
The morning will start with a pranayama session followed by an active asana class. In the afternoons, we will have a restorative class before dinner.
Everyone is welcome, beginners as well as advanced yoga practitioners.

The timing may vary slightly and we will have one afternoon free (probably on Wednesday)
The teachers
Alex and Sarah-Jane (Intermediate Junior III) will be your teachers. They will inspire you to go deeper in your yoga practice and to get the full benefit out the poses using, when needed, the perfect set up for your body.
Alex Borovik:
Alex was born in 1970 near Nuremberg in Germany. Via Vipassana Meditation and Aikido, he came to Iyengar Yoga in 202. After completing his training as a certified yoga teacher in the tradition of BKS Iyengar (3 years at the Sebastian Kneipp Academy), he went to India in 2008 where he deepened his knowledge of Iyengar Yoga (RIMYI/ Puer, Usha Devi, Rudra/ Rishikesh, Dr. Karandikar /Pune, Dr. Abhay Keste / Belgaum)
Since 2008, Alex has been living in Goa in India where is teaching in his studio regular classes, worksshops and retreats. The last years, he has been traveling around Europe in the spring/Summer, teaching workshops, retreats and teaching trainings.
In his classes Alex uses knowledge of Iyengar Yoga, biomechanics and yoga therapy, which allows him to easily teach students of various levels, body types and with different health problems
Sarah-Jane Rawkins
Sarah-Jane started yoga in 1997 during a trip to Thailand. Through studying many different styles she has come to appreciate the precision, integrity, authenticity and serious disciplined approach of the Iyengar system of Yoga.
She completed the 3 year Iyengar Teacher Training program in the Netherlands in 2007. Through further training she received her Intermediate Junior 3 certificate in 2017. She also completed a 3-year therapeutic course to better help and guide people with injuries, illness or physical limitations.
She has over 10 years experience teaching (regular classes, workshops, retreats) and she is the owner of Yoga Nieuw Vennep.
She continues to work towards higher levels of practice and teaching taking part in workshops and retreats around the world including visiting the Iyengar institute in Pune India to study directly with the Iyengars
How much does it cost?
Early bird prices for bookings confirmed before May 10th:

300 € for single occupancy
950 € for a non yogi companion in a shared double room
Prices per person.
If you book a single room before the 10th of May, you will be able to bring a friend to share the room with you (yogi or non yogi) for an early bird price till the end
