Yoga Retreat with Simon Low

One afternoon during the week is “off” to allow excursions, touristic activities, or simply rest and relaxation.

The clases

The morning class is a more yang dynamic class with flowingbreath-led vinyasa and a broad spectrum of asana that biuld energy, flexibility and strength while deeply honouring the natural rhytms and construction of the human anatomy.

Precision of alignment is balanced by circular and spiral movement patterns with particular emphasis on joint care and ease of movement. The afternoon class is a yin style class featuring deeply restorative asana alongside postures inspired by Taoist yoga that stimulate and balance the subtle body and the multi-dimensaional web of connective tissues, offering a profound effective platfomr to embrace the purity of presence and enquiry into the many facets of being.

Thomas Hanna inspired somatics movement education is infused within many of the led classes. The Great Yoga Wall is also utilised during the rerteat, offering further variety to your practice benefits and experience.

Activities:

There will usually be one afternoon off for rest, beach adventures, exploring the local areas or visiting the renowned Andalucian cities of Granada, Ronda, Cordoba, Malaga, Nerja and Marbella, for example, all within an accesible driving distance.

For partners not participating in yoga classes, we have deals with local golf courses and horseback riding schools, if partners are interested in those activities.

We have a salt water pool good for comfortable laps and a paddle court.

There are walks in the surrounding hills with views to the glistening Mediterranean sea.

Catering:

Meals are included, and we begin with a joint dinner on the day of arrival. On all other days there will be breakfast, a light lunch and dinner, with fruit, toast and tea available in the early morning before yoga. Food is locally inspired, fresh Mediterranean cuisine and mostly vegetarian, with fish on some days too, and always served buffet style.
